24 hours later

Yesterday at this time, we had just arrived at the hospital and were waiting to see a nurse in the triage area. Today, we’re in our hospital room with our new beautiful baby sleeping contentedly (periodically!) right by us. Audrey has had some problems with her glucose levels and initially with some breathing issues, but everything seems to be working itself out. I’m stunned to report that I’m up & walking around as of late last night. I hope to be able to write something with more depth and substance later, but right now I’m just amazed by my life and how lucky I am.
